Spring Peat Pot Swap

Here are the wonderful goodies I received from swap partner, Lynn Stevens, in the Spring peat pot swap at Vintage Dragonfly's Flickr group. Aren'y they wonderful?!

 Vintage seals, German dresden trims, bunnies, chicks and tiny words.

 A bouquet of flowers and a spun cotton mushroom tied with lace.

 Bundles of beautiful lace, so tempting, to use for Spring projects!And last, but far from least, the peat pot! Isn't it just adorable? I love all the touches. Tiny eggs, hand dyed ribbon, flowers, crinkly paper and the cutest bunny waving hello! Thank you Lynn!

I created four new banners for my mantel in honor of Summer. Here is the first, June.

Downton Abbey ATC Swap

1/7 for my Yahoo group. First up is Carson, the butler. Downton couldn't run without him!

Artist trading card Armoire

My fellow art sister and fabulous artist Laura Carson artfullymusing.blogspot.com/ has been designing little armoires to hold ATC's. I was so taken with them that I decided to make my own. While she used cigar boxes, I used a Christmas gift box I had laying around. The doors were fashioned out of foam core, and the box was simply covered in paper. The closet rod is a dowel. I have yet to add feet, but that is minor detail.
