Clothespin art

I found these giant clothespins at the dollar store and had a eureka moment. After taking my goodies home, I took them apart and gave them 3 coats of acrylic paint in light ivory. Since I wanted to do these as gifts, I found graphics appropriate for each recipient. Both are scientists in different fields, Geology and Biotechnology. For the Geologist I chose a trilobite, an archimedes mollusk, muscle shells showing a rill pattern when water washes over them, and a pointing hand with the words "please notice this." For the Biotech gift I chose a set of beakers, a test tube, a sulfer bottle and a paramecieum.  Some of the graphics come from the Graphics Fairy site http://graphicsfairy.blogspot.com/, and some from a clip art site with science clip art.http://etc.usf.edu/clipart/
